This press release that was used as invitation for the final community event at the townhall of San Cristobal gives an overview of the participating local insitutions as well as of the international GI-experts that took part in the workshop.
This site serves as a platform to share and discuss an ongoing collective effort to create a geocommunity for Galapagos that fosters a technological and organizational infrastructure for a collaborative management and use of critical geoinformation for the Galapagos Islands.
